Community Call Outs: The Community Contact Call-Out Program provides on-going emotional support to callers who have limited support and/or resources. Helpline volunteers contact repeat helpline users and arrange for regular scheduled calls to be made Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to
Suicide Survivor Call Out Program: Survivor is defined as someone who has lost a loved one or friend to suicide. This program provides a bridge for survivors that are waiting to attend the Suicide Survivor Group. The call-out member receives a scheduled call from a trained volunteer who is also a Survivor of Suicide.
Prideline Durham: a helpline for the LGBTQ community in Durham Region to offer non-judgemental emotional support, community referral information and crisis intervention.
Suicide Survivor Support Groups: This is an 8 week closed Support Group for individuals grieving the loss of someone special who died of suicide. The focus of the support group is to better understand the uniqueness of the grief associated with suicide.
Homicide Survivor Support Group: This is a 10 week closed Support Group for individuals grieving the loss of someone special who died by homicide. The focus of the support group is to better understand the uniqueness of the grief and trauma associated with homicide
